The 8th edition of the Global Health, Safety and Environment has marked the start on 16th May, 2022 in the Oman Conference and Exhibition under the patronage of H.E.eng. Said bin Hamood Bin Said Al Mmawali, Minister of Transport & Communication and IT. Hosted by Ministry of Energy & Minerals, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Saudi Aramco, OQ and OPAL, under the theme of HSE Excellence - 'Leadership, Sustainability and Technology”. It will take place at Oman Convention & Exhibition Center for three days until 19th May 2022.
We are honoured to host this edition of Global HSE in Oman that aims to continue the tradition of creating a sustainable and premium platform to discuss the various challenges faced by the industry and community, and ultimately conclude with solutions for protecting the lives of people and the environment.
This edition seeks to shed light on three pillars – leadership commitment, use of technology and mainstream focus on sustainable goals that organisations can persist in the current competitive and challenging market while having to meet legal requirements and communities’ expectations.
The conference will address the importance of health, safety, and environment for human capital development and its impact on the economic and social development aligned with the industrial modernisation and production efficiency in Oman.
The conference will include 5 high-level keynote address sessions, 7 panel discussions, 17 technical sessions and 7 workshops that will address several important topics, such as Process Safety Management, International HSE Management Standards, Pandemic Risk & Response Management for Major Industries, Energy Efficiency & Climate Change, and successful practical experiences in the areas of health, safety, and environment, and many other specialised topics.
The conference will also witness the participation of 100+ expert speakers in this field and is expected to welcome more than 1500 participants from 25 countries.
In addition to the conference, an accompanying exhibition will be held with a potential participation of more than 50 companies from various local, regional and international organisations to showcase the latest technological advancements and expertise related to safety, health and environment, which includes devices, equipment and modern system applications.
